We are seeking a highly creative and self-driven Social Media Content Creator to support two incredible ski destinations in Nova Scotia — Ski Martock and Cape Smokey. This unique role combines travel, outdoor adventure, and creative freedom, giving you the opportunity to shape how these iconic locations connect with audiences through authentic content.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives with minimal direction, and loves bringing stories to life through visual content.
You will travel between Ski Martock and Cape Smokey, capturing authentic experiences on and off the slopes — from action skiing footage to community moments — helping build a strong and engaging digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content including video, photography, and graphics
- Capture action footage while skiing and following skiers on the slopes
- Use drones and mobile devices to film dynamic outdoor content
- Develop creative storytelling concepts aligned with brand voice
- Manage and organize content for social platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining creative independence
- Identify opportunities to capture authentic moments that resonate with audiences
- Support growth of social media presence and engagement
Who You Are
- Creative, self-directed, and highly motivated
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Passionate about outdoor adventure and storytelling
- Strong eye for visual composition and authentic content
- Comfortable skiing or working in outdoor winter environments
- Experience creating social media content (video/photo/editing)
- Experience using drones is considered a strong asset
- Willing to travel regularly between Ski Martock and Cape Smokey
