About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing automotive service organization that is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and high-quality vehicle care. We are seeking a customer-focused and organized Service Advisor to join their team.


The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and create a positive first impression.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage daily workflow.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
  • Prepare repair orders and communicate service recommendations.
  • Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
  • Explain repairs, maintenance requirements, and costs in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle status and timelines.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
  • Review completed work orders and invoices with customers.
  • Process payments and assist with administrative duties as required.
  • Support customer retention initiatives and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate records within the shop management system.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, service advisor, automotive, or sales environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and scheduling software.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

  • Automotive service advisor experience.
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair terminology.
  • Experience preparing estimates and repair orders.
  • Familiarity with automotive shop management software.
