Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles.
• Perform inspections and identify required maintenance and repair work.
• Complete brake, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and engine repairs.
• Conduct tire installations, balancing, rotations, and wheel alignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and computerized vehicle systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Wheel alignment experience.
• Experience with light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Inspection license (considered an asset).
• Experience mentoring apprentices.
